3 Steps to Create Multiple Streams of Income

Digital marketing is one of the best ways to make money on the Internet. You can promote your offer or other people's offers.

There are many different niches that you can build a thriving business in.

One of the best ways to choose a profitable niche is to first decide what you want to sell. If you want to sell information or secrets, then you should look for a niche where people are desperate to get the "secrets".

Step 1: Pick a niche

If you want to sell something tangible such as a product, then you should look for a product-oriented niche. When you are choosing a product-oriented niche, it's important to think about your own product or service that you could offer to help people in that particular niche.

Once you've come up with a good product or service idea, the next step is to find out if there is a need for what you have to offer in that particular niche.

You can do this using Rank Tracker, a tool that's part of SEO Powersuite. You can create a free account and use it to find keywords with a high demand and review the keyword difficulty. This is an amazing free tool that will tell you the popularity of certain keywords and phrases in various Internet markets. It's one of the tools that I use throughout the month, every month. When I use the tool, my goal is to look for individual keywords with a keyword difficulty of less than 30. If I can find a collection of relevant keywords with a collective demand of 50-100K+ searches a month, that will give me reassurance that I can build a huge audience.

Step 2: Build your audience

In traditional business, you typically set up shop first.

While you can do that online, I prefer to build an audience 1st. Once you build up the know, like, and trust factor, you'll have an easier time with offering products.

A popular strategy for building up an audience is to use one of the many different forms of social media. There are lots of websites that let you post information and then get feedback from your audience. Some of these sites include Twitter, Facebook, YouTube, TikTok, Pinterest, and many others.

You should use one (or more) of these sites to promote your website or your blog.

If you have a website, you can tell people about it by posting a link to it on one of the social media sites.

If you don't have a website yet, you can tell your story through a blog.

The idea is to get your story out there so that people can read it and be encouraged by it. This will increase the chances that they will listen to your message and pay attention to what you are saying. If you write a good story (and you can) people will want to read it and hopefully visit your website.

Just by doing this consistently, whether that's once a week or even several times a day, you'll build up your audience. It won't be overnight, but each post will help build your business.

Step 3: Weave in multiple offers

While building up your audience, you can promote your offers.

In the beginning, I recommend promoting softly or through hybrid content. This means that you're not aggressively pitching like a desperate used car salesman.

Let's say you have an offer for a free book and a couple of other related offers such as a report or a video course. How do you include all these in your sales pitch so that your prospect is more likely to buy the other stuff too?

In your free report, you can link out to offers in your mind. To do this, think about how all these things relate to each other. The first thing you should do is to give away the free book. This will get people interested in your other offers.

If you have an email list, you can easily schedule out different offers throughout the month. If you have an upgraded Groove.cm account, you can use GrooveMail to schedule emails. If you don't, then Sendiio is one of my favorite options. It's more affordable that using Aweber or GetResponse. It's a little more technical, but they do offer training videos that teach people every step of the way.

What I like to do is put a single offer on a landing page, or a blog post for focused promotions. That will help with conversions, versus posting tons of offers links on a single page. You can make some sales off those kinds of pages (ie. recommended resources), but they're less effective compared to a pre-sell landing page that focuses on a single product promotion. You can build all those pages or blog posts in Groove. If you're just getting started, they do have free accounts.

From there, just rinse and repeat!
